Red Bank is its own city, incorporated in 1955 and entirely surrounded by Chattanooga, about five miles north of downtown. It was called Pleasant Hill until 1881, when the new post office took its name from a red clay ridge the first postmaster's wife could see from her window. Today it is about twelve thousand people on six and a half square miles, laid out along the Stringers Branch valley at the foot of the Cumberland Plateau, with Dayton Boulevard running through the middle.
Much of the housing is mid-century and later: brick ranches, cottages and split-levels on established streets, with newer infill and houses climbing the ridges on either side of the valley. The ranches have long, low eaves that take a permanent track cleanly and are easy to hang seasonally too, and the ridge-side houses bring the height and walkout backs that make a permanent system worth having.
What a Red Bank install actually takes
On the valley streets, not much drama. Heights are modest and access is usually good, so the work goes into measuring the run, planning the power and spacing the clips for a wet Tennessee Valley winter. On the ridge-side lots the back of a house can sit a full story below the front, so the rear run gets its own plan, and mature trees are checked for clearance before we decide where a line sits.
Dayton Boulevard is the commercial side, with shops, restaurants and offices along the main road through town. Those runs are usually permanent, sectioned and scheduled around business hours, so a business never loses a day and the frontage can change with the season without anyone on a ladder.

Christmas and seasonal light installation in Red Bank
Seasonal lighting with us is a full service. What you get is not a box of lights off a shelf. We design a display around your roofline, then install commercial-grade product that has been cut to fit your house. We service it through the season whenever anything goes dark. After the holidays we take the display down and store it until next year. So there is nothing to keep in your garage and nothing that gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order is what decides the calendar. Jobs are installed in the sequence they were booked, so whoever called first holds the earliest dates. If the goal is lights on before the first weekend of December, sign up well ahead of the season.
Permanent outdoor lighting in Red Bank
A slim track, fixed under the roofline, is all that permanent lighting is. It stays up all year. From the street it reads as trim. On an ordinary evening you can run warm white, and through December you can run color. On a Saturday in autumn it can be orange and white, and at any time you can switch it off entirely. Two systems are available from us, JellyFish and Bosso, and we install both. We are an authorized dealer for JellyFish, the name most people know. Bosso is the alternative. Its fixture and control system are its own, and some rooflines take it better. At the consult we have both on hand, we look at your house, and we tell you which one fits. If the cheaper option is the right one, you will hear that too.
