Lighting built for Lookout Mountain rooflines
The Town of Lookout Mountain sits on top of the mountain at about 1,850 feet. It was incorporated in 1890 and is home to around two thousand people on a little over a square mile, with its sister city, Lookout Mountain, Georgia, across the state line to the south. Few places in the metro carry more history: the Incline Railway climbs the mountain's face, and Point Park, part of the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, marks the 1863 battle fought on its slopes. The houses suit the setting, mostly older homes, many of them built before 1940, with a few newer builds on wooded lots, some of them right on the bluff.
Up here the valley is part of the audience. A house near the brow is seen from its own street and from the city far below, so a clean, continuous outline carries most of the effect, and a permanent track shows it off every night of the year rather than five weeks in December. On a historic front with heavy stonework or deep trim, a seasonal display designed around that detail is often the better choice, and it comes down after the holidays.
What a Lookout Mountain install actually takes
Access, trees and weather. Drives are steep, roads are narrow and winding, lots are wooded and rarely flat, and a house on the bluff can have almost no room behind it, so where a ladder or lift can stand is settled on the site visit before anything is booked. Clips are chosen for the actual edge, because older houses rarely present a uniform fascia, and nothing is fastened through roofing.
The mountain runs colder and wetter than the valley and ice lingers, so we use clips that will still hold in February, and installs here need dry days more than anywhere else we work. Book early: mountain dates are the first to go each season.

Christmas and seasonal light installation on Lookout Mountain
Seasonal lighting here is a full service. It is not a box of lights you pull from a shelf. We plan the design around your roofline. The product we install is commercial-grade and cut to fit your house, and through the season we service it if anything goes dark. When the holidays are done we remove the display and keep it in storage until next year. Nothing sits in your garage, and nothing is crushed between seasons.
Booking order sets the calendar. We install in the order of booking, so the first people to call hold the earliest dates. To be lit before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.
Permanent outdoor lighting on Lookout Mountain
Permanent lighting uses a slim track that is fixed under the roofline and left in place all year. Seen from the street, it reads as trim. You might keep it on warm white for an ordinary evening and change to color through December, or to orange and white when a fall Saturday comes around. You can also switch it off completely. Every change is made in the app, so nobody climbs anything.
We install two systems. We are an authorized dealer for JellyFish, which is the one most people have heard of. Bosso, the alternative, has its own fixture and control system and is the better match for some rooflines. At the consult we have both with us, and we tell you which fits your house, including the cases where that is the cheaper option.
Commercial and HOA lighting on Lookout Mountain
Besides homes, we light common areas, entrances, storefronts and offices. Commercial jobs are scheduled around your business hours, so no business day is lost to the install. A larger property can be phased, with the work done over several visits.
A landlord, an HOA or a historic district may have rules on the color of a fixture, on brightness or on where a track can sit. Bring those to the consult and we design to them from the start. We do not design first and ask for an exception later.

Free design consult
We come out, walk the property and measure the roofline. You are shown how the run will look once it is finished. There is no charge for this and no obligation.

Custom install
The install follows your approved plan and is done by our crew. Commercial-grade product is cut on site and fitted on site. A one-size kit is never used.

Service & takedown
If something goes dark, we come back up and fix it. On seasonal work, removal is handled by us, and we store your lights until the next year.
