Lighting built for Collegedale rooflines
Collegedale is a small city built around Southern Adventist University, which gives it a mix the surrounding subdivisions do not have: campus and institutional buildings, older houses close in, and newer family housing spreading out toward Apison and Ooltewah. Our office is a short run north on the Lee Highway corridor, so this is near work for us. The variety is the point — one street can move from mid-century fascia to modern seamless gutter in a few hundred feet, so we measure rather than assume.
Institutional and commercial work is a real part of what we do here, alongside houses. Campus edges, church and school frontages and the small retail around Collegedale Commons all want lighting that reads as architecture rather than decoration, and they want it working without disrupting term time. On the residential side, permanent lighting does well because it removes the annual ladder job entirely.
What a Collegedale install actually takes
Mixed stock means mixed fixings. Newer houses take a permanent track cleanly along a straight fascia. The older ones have shallower or interrupted fascia, deeper eaves, and gutter that has often been replaced piecemeal, so the clip has to match the actual edge rather than a catalogue. We decide that on site, and we fix to structure rather than through shingles.
Timing is the other Collegedale-specific thing. Institutional and campus work runs on its own calendar and rarely lines up with the residential rush in late October and November. Booking early is how both get done properly instead of one squeezing the other.

What we install
Christmas & Seasonal
Full-service holiday displays: design, commercial-grade lights, installation, in-season service, then takedown and storage.
JellyFish Permanent
Track-mounted permanent lighting tucked under the roofline. Millions of colors, app controlled, holiday or everyday.
Bosso Smart Lighting
A permanent lighting alternative with its own fixture and control system. We fit it to homes JellyFish does not suit.
Commercial & HOA
Storefronts, offices, common areas and entrances, scheduled installs that work around your business hours.
Christmas and seasonal light installation in Collegedale
Seasonal lighting is a full service, not a box of lights from a shelf. We design the display around your roofline, install commercial-grade product cut to fit your house, and service it through the season if anything goes dark. After the holidays we take it down and store it until next year, so nothing lives in your garage and nothing gets crushed between seasons.
Booking order decides the calendar. Installs run in the order they are booked, so the earliest dates go to whoever called first. If you want the lights on before the first weekend of December, get on the list well before the season starts.

Permanent outdoor lighting in Collegedale
Permanent lighting is a slim track fixed under the roofline that stays up all year and reads as trim from the street. Run warm white on an ordinary evening, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. It is all controlled from an app, so nobody climbs anything.
We install two systems. JellyFish is the one most people have heard of and we are an authorized dealer. Bosso is an alternative with its own fixture and control system that suits some rooflines better. We bring both to the consult and tell you which fits your house, including when that is the cheaper option.
Commercial and HOA lighting in Collegedale
We light storefronts, offices, entrances and common areas as well as homes. Commercial work is scheduled around your trading hours so the install never costs you a business day, and a larger property can be phased across several visits.
If an HOA, a landlord or a historic district has rules about fixture color, brightness or where a track may sit, bring them to the consult and we design to them from the start rather than asking for an exception later.

How it works

02
